Customs Passbook (TRIPTIK)
Customs passbook is the international customs document that allows the temporary entry of cars, according to the terms of the United Nations treaties relating to the temporary entry of vehicles for the years 1954 and 1956. The customs passbook is also considered as a part of the Istanbul Convention of 1990 supervised by the World Customs Organization.
In light of these international agreements, the customs passbook facilitates the temporary import of vehicles and aims to protect trade between countries, especially motor vehicle trade, so that they are not sold in the country the traveler enters.
